HARDCORE SELF DEFENSE
HARDCORE SELF DEFENSE was my first commercially published book and I recommend it to advanced practitioners only, with grave reservations, for entertainment purposes only. It was originally written in the early 1990s, the manuscript sitting in a battered briefcase for nearly a decade before being offered in a 3 pamphlet set. Paladin Press refused to publish it, being even too controversial for them after the "Hit Man" lawsuit which caused them to censor their own catalog by eliminating books on certain topics which could be construed as promoting unlawful activities.
HCSD was written in the non-permissive environment of upstate New York, where it is almost impossible for the average citizen to acquire a CCW permit, virtually all types of knives and impact weapons are technically illegal to carry, and if you kill a burglar breaking into your home at night you will be charged with murder, as well as have your home searched and multiple items seized. Consequently, many New Yorkers learned not to call 911 in those situations and to handle things themselves.
In addition to addressing acquiring the combat mindset via self-hypnosis, various techniques of using the blade and belt, and an encyclopedic compendium of improvised weaponry, it also details the best possible methods of disposing of a dead body in order to protect oneself from unjust prosecution.
Due to the textbook like format of this title, it is unavailable in audio.
